Main Events

25th Città di Jesolo -  Champion CH & Advanced ADV

(New Double Elimination più Consolation). Players eliminated from Main sheet will play Second Chance. First two players of the main tournament and the first two of the Second Chance tournament qualify for the "Final 4". All those eliminated from the previous two phases will play the Consolation. Second Chance and Consolation are progressive, losers in an advanced position fall respectively into an equally advanced position.

• Champion category match points: 11 main, 9 Second Chance, 7 Consolation, "Final 4" 13/15.

• Advanced category match points:  9 main, 7 Second Chance, 5 Consolation, "Final 4" 9/11.

Triple Elimination. 5 points, players are eliminated from the tournament after their 3rd loss. Byes count as victories.

Single Elimination, 7 points. Valid for the CNB 2024 Championship ranking.

Single & Double Consulting

Two singles matches and one consultation doubles match.
5 point matches for singles and 7 point match for doubles.
Each singles match won is worth two points.
Doubles starts from the score acquired. Ex: with two wins the double starts from 4 to 0 to 7, otherwise a match won and a match lost starts from 2 to 2 to 7.

Senior Tournament

For Players age 60 and over.

Swing Tournament

All players start with the same number of Victory Points (VP) subject to increase or decrease in relation to victories or losses. Play continues until all available VPs are exhausted.

Double Elimination - Swiss Style

In a double-elimination tournament, players are eliminated after their second loss. Byes count as wins. The number of rounds is determined before the competition begins.

Backgammon Playland

3 in/3out

First elimination rounds with Swiss format and final phase with Single Elimination format.
Five rounds available to qualify. Players with three victories first, go directly to the final draw, players with three defeats  are eliminated from the tournament.
Max 32 players.
3 point matches in the qualifying round and 5 point matches in the Single Elimination phase.

Cancel Gammon

Each player starts the game with a token representing the option to cancel an opponent's roll. Once the cancellation is used, the token is removed from the board and reinstated at the beginning of the next game. It is not permitted to cancel cube actions, one's own rolls, or the opening roll. You may wait until your opponent has completed their move before using the cancellation, but this is not required. However, once you have rolled or doubled, it is too late to cancel your opponent's last roll. After a player has used their cancellation, the opponent may immediately double before the re-roll occurs.

Re-entries allowed and encouraged. A player may have no more than 2 live entries at a time.
